I finally had the chance to see my own country a bit more as me and Adam took off to Ivalo last Sunday.
Our destination being Urho Kekkonen National park in Northern Finland.
I can only advise you to go there and check it out yourself. Its definitely worth it.
We spent five nights in the park all together and walked approx. -+ 15 km a day. What I really enjoyed about the park is that you can plan your own route to be as short or as long as you want. As I am not a huge fan of long distances, this was perfect for me. On easy days we would just chill out in the cozy cottages which the park offers to any hikers totally FREE OF CHARGE.
I also wanna share my little packing list, which I made during the trip. I have to say that I had food in my mind 2/3 of the time, probably cos I wasn't eating quite enough. So I decided that next is going to be different.
